Friday December 26th, I had a little get together with my friends back home. We just hung out, ate lots of food, and played White Elephant.
If there is one thing to learn about me, it is that I hold the relationships I make with people very close to my heart. I have so much appreciation for the people that have touched even a small moment in my life because I know they have shaped me to who I have become today. But most importantly, the ones that have been there with me through everything, I cherish even more.
So it's nice to still have a core group of friends to come back to. Seeing these friends all together, even just for one night, means the world to me. Because even though our lives have changed since high school and we have all met new people, it warms my heart to know that our friendship will always remain.
